Terms of Service
Last updated 13 September 2026.
What this covers
These terms cover Castroom, a Mac app for making pictures and slideshows. Installing or using it means you accept them.
The app is provided as is
Castroom comes with no warranty of any kind, and no promise that it will work, keep working, or be supported. Nothing here creates an obligation to fix, maintain or answer.
You are responsible for what you make
- You own what you make with Castroom, and you are responsible for it.
- You are responsible for anything you post anywhere, including whether it needs to be labelled as made with AI on the platform you post it to.
- You must not use Castroom to make pictures of a real person without their agreement, or anything unlawful.
Other people's services
Castroom calls image and text model APIs using keys you supply, and can upload pictures to storage run by Castroom's author so that TikTok and Instagram can fetch them. Those services have their own terms, and using them through Castroom does not change them. What you spend with them is between you and them.
